Ras Disha is a quiet dive site and is located in the southern part of Hurghada near Makadi Bay.
On Ras Disha you’ll find a sand plateau that ends in a dropoff. The main reef has no life so you should dive on the ergs at a depth of 13 meters. In the northern erg you will find a small cave with glassfish and sometimes a turtle takes a nap there. Between the ergs barracudas like to hang out.
Underwater life at Ras Disha are; scorpionfish, stonefish, rays, crocodilefish and lots of anemonefish, and if you make a drift dive on Ras Disha you might see a reefshark.
Because of the long sailing time to Ras Disha, we can only travel to this dive site if the weather conditions are good.
